About Sahayak

Every year, millions of Indians pay ₹500–₹5000 to touts and cyber-café agents just to fill up simple forms for PAN, Aadhaar, ration cards, PF withdrawals, and pensions. It's not fair. The rules are actually simple — it's just that nobody explains them in plain language.

Sahayak (meaning "helper" in Hindi) is a small effort to fix that. Free forever. Voice-first. In your mother tongue.

One helper, eight everyday areas. Everything free, everything in your language.

Who writes Sahayak

Sahayak is created and edited by its founder, Sudhanshu Jena. Every guide is researched from official sources, written in plain language, and reviewed before it goes live.

Sahayak is an independent information service. It is not a government website and is not linked to any government department. We never ask for your Aadhaar, OTP, bank details or payments to "process" an application.

Where our facts come from

We use primary sources first — the department, regulator or law that actually decides the rule. News reports are only used to find a change, which we then confirm on the official source.

  • Government documents & services: Official department portals and gazette notifications — e-District portals, UIDAI, Income Tax Department, Passport Seva, EPFO, NSDL / UTIITSL.
  • Exams: The official websites and information bulletins of each conducting body — NTA, UPSC, SSC, state PSCs and state boards.
  • Scholarships: The National Scholarship Portal and each state's own scholarship portal and scheme guidelines.
  • Mandi prices & MSP: Agmarknet and data.gov.in for market prices, PIB / CACP releases for MSP, and state agricultural marketing boards.
  • Loans, tax & insurance: RBI master directions and circulars, the Income-tax Act and Rules, and IRDAI regulations.
  • Rent & property: State registration and stamp portals, state rent laws and the Model Tenancy Act.

How we check and update pages

  • Every guide shows a "last reviewed" or "last verified" date so you know how fresh it is.
  • Official links on exam, scholarship and mandi pages are checked automatically on a schedule, and broken or moved links are flagged for review.
  • MSP rates and mandi data are compared with the official releases, and fees, limits and deadlines are re-checked every academic or financial year.
  • When a rule changes — a new tax rule, an RBI direction or a new state scheme — we update the page and its date rather than adding a separate news post.

Found a mistake? Our corrections policy

If something on Sahayak is wrong or out of date, tell us through the feedback page or by email at sahayakapps@gmail.com. Please include the page link and, if possible, the official source.

  • Every report is read and checked against the official source.
  • Confirmed errors are fixed on the page and the review date is updated.
  • Important corrections — such as a wrong fee, deadline or eligibility rule — are fixed first.

Editorial independence

Sahayak is free to use. Any advertising shown on the site never decides what we write, which schemes we list, or which banks or insurers we mention — we do not accept paid placements inside guides. Calculators give estimates for planning; always confirm final figures with the official portal, your lender or insurer. Read our full disclaimer and privacy policy.
