How scholarships work in Goa

Goa has its own Chief Minister's Scholarship portal for state schemes, and the Directorate of Higher Education runs an interest-free education loan and a bursary for college students. SC students apply for central pre- and post-matric scholarships on NSP.

Goa's state schemes are run by several departments, so the Chief Minister's Scholarship portal is the best single place to see what is open. Students should note the early NSP deadline for SC scholarships in Goa — in 2025-26 it was 30 September, earlier than in many states.
