How scholarships work in Himachal Pradesh
Himachal Pradesh uses the HP e-Scholarship portal for both state and central schemes. Alongside caste-based post-matric support, the state rewards its top board students and helps them pay for coaching.
In Himachal Pradesh the e-Scholarship portal is shared by the Education Department and the Social Justice Department, so state merit awards and caste-based post-matric scholarships appear in the same list. Many state merit awards are based on HPBOSE merit lists, so students who studied in CBSE schools should read each notification to see if they qualify.
