How scholarships work in Manipur
Manipur has a State Merit Scholarship that rewards top students in Class 10 and Class 12, plus a special Chief Minister's scheme for students with disabilities. Caste-based post-matric scholarships come through NSP.
Manipur's State Merit Scholarship is selected from the HSLC and Class 12 results, so students do not take a separate test. The notification usually comes after results, and students apply through the education department portals with their marksheet and income certificate.
