How scholarships work in Maharashtra
Maharashtra brings almost every scholarship onto the MahaDBT portal. A major recent change is full tuition and exam-fee waiver for girls in professional courses from families earning up to ₹8 lakh.
On MahaDBT, a single profile is used for all schemes, and the portal suggests the schemes you are eligible for. Students in professional courses should note that MahaDBT may ask for a caste validity certificate in addition to the caste certificate — apply for validity on cvc.barti.in as soon as you take admission.
